Shirley Airport Diner in Massachusetts

"Quaint little place on the side of the road. Food was good. New omelet options like my hamburger w/ onion, tomato, & pickle. Cinn bun was good but could have been warmer."

"Honestly, I just don't know how to review this place. On one hand, the place just looks old, rundown, and sketchy. On the other hand, the food came out slow but tasted above average. All matching the low prices. Don't expect quick service or food, but there are signs for that up to set your expectations. Cash only too - no ATM. The watress was nice and did everything but cook. Server, cleaner, and is the manual dishwasher. French toast was thicker bread and tasted good, the eggs were good and the bacon thin. Omelet was ok and the hash browns lacked flavor. I don't think this place is for everyone."

"Visited a while ago, This is truly a hidden gem! The diner may look sketchy at first on the road side, but the prices, food, and portion sizes are unbeatable. Very 50s style, especially the old tv. Never have I ever had a good deal on diner food like here. The older lady was lots of fun and we had a good chat. I recommend the "747 Burger". Definitely worth visiting if in the area. They were cash only when I went!"

"Cozy diner with fun airport theme. Good food severed by a pleasant waitress. Come with time on your hands and no rush to be anywhere. Spent and hour having breakfast & it was very enjoyable."

"I have nothing to complain about. It's exactly what you would expect and the prices are great. I enjoyed all the food I got. I got the veggie omelette with no onions and rye bread. And the stuffed lemon waffle was good. It did not need syrup, but did taste good with butter. The staff is always polite and attentive."

"Amazing place some foods are better than others but some foods are very good and the waitress are very nice and friendly and talk to the customers nicely and this is a very fun place to be in it is small but very interesting to be around it is like a train cabin but inside a counter with bar stools and look up and lots of model planes definitely recommend this place if you are around"

"Great food, service , and along with great prices. This is a great stop for breakfast or lunch! As it is as close to an original dinner, some may consider it a bit outdated To those I say. "Go to a big chain" and pay for it! The folks you meet here are the real thing! The menu and daily specials are so much like your Mom made. Bob does a fabulous job, and portions are decent size!"

"Hidden gem!! The outside and inside of this diner is rustic, vintage and clean. Husband and wife team run the diner and couldn’t be any nicer! I got the airport special, which was a large amount of food for a more than reasonable price. Pictured are my chocolate chip pancakes, which is included with the special. Definitely will be coming back soon!!"
